Requirements

-Experienced (3+ years) software tester on Unix platforms.
-Have designed and implemented automated tests for a range of technologies, using a mixture of bespoke and off-the-shelf components.
-You must be happy developing test code yourself, and not just using 3rd party tools.
-Good software development skills, including shell scripting.
-Solid programmer in Perl.
-Programming experience in C# or Java or similar.
-Database programming.
-Testing of web sites.

Desirable

-Experience with unit test frameworks, such as those based on jUnit.
-Familiarity with agile methods, such as extreme programming, which incorporate a test-first mentality.
-Testing of SOAP services.
-C and PHP.
