| Long Description : This involves low level programming (integration of telephony hardware drivers), utilization & integration of third party software packages (from speech & TTS vendors) and a strong interest in new generation telephony technologies (soft telephony, VoiceXML, SALT, etc.).
Experience
•minimum 2 years experience of developing software in a telephony environment
•experience of accelerated development methodologies
•excellent communication skills
Technical skills
•expert programming skills in C++ in both Windows and Unix environments
•significant experience of “low level” programming
•detailed knowledge of telephony protocols (TDM) and telephony technologies in general
Qualification
•Degree in computer science, business or arts desirable
Temperament/motivation
•a hands on, intensely proactive approach and thorough attention to detail
•self motivated with strong personal organisation skills
•capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously and work well under pressure
•willing to take on a new intellectual challenge
