A position exists within the Internal Systems Support team to provide desktop and systems support to our client. This role is based in High Wycombe however, you will be required to be able travel to other sites, although own transport is not necessary, but a clean drivers license is.

Description of Role and Responsibilities:

•To provide a consistent and high level of service and support for desktop platform and applications.

•To monitor and maintain the internal IT systems.

•To design, plan and implement IT system enhancements in line with company direction.

•To ensure the backup of internal company systems and desktop platforms. 

•Maintaining the IT asset inventory.

•The provisioning of licensing and software.

•This role involves basic networking, some advanced telephone system administration and electrical work.

•To communicate and advise as required to the Head of the Internal Systems Support on the development of internal systems, services and desktop platforms.

•To undertake any other duties and functions that may be reasonably regarded as the duties of Internal Systems Support.

Qualifications/Competencies and Experience:

•Degree level or equivalent in computing related subject or at least three years experience in a support and IT systems environment.
•Experience with Windows & Macintosh systems
•TCPIP, LAN and general networking experience, but not essential
•Good interpersonal and communication skills
•The ability to work under pressure and deal with difficult situations
•High motivation and the ability to seek out work
