Voip Specialist Ref:Vox34u Location:Europe
Short Description : VoxID is looking for a customer focused Product Specialist who will be part of a team that is responsible for developing and support SBC (Session Border Controller) and Security Gateway (SGW) opportunities and for supporting technical activities for the VoxId's SBC and SGW products.
The Product Specialist will interact directly with customer accounts and will closely support account managers in the region throughout the sales process. He will also identify key customer requirements and present an overall product solution that meets those requirements.
Long Description :

Roles and Responsibilities:

•Provide initial technical product overview to new customer accounts
•Establish key business and technical relationships in each account
•Conduct and manage  product evaluations, trials and demonstrations
•Correspond with customer engineering, operations and network planning groups
•Track and prioritize technical issues and milestones through-out the pre-sales process
•Interface with customers, partners and collaborate with a broad range of technical and sales teams within Audiocodes
•Answer RFP's and provide written responses to customer’s  technical requirements
•Work with product management and marketing groups to identify feature requirements
•Work closely with Sales, Product Management and Engineering teams  to help close business

Profile:

•Strong telecommunications background in VoIP and Fixed Mobile Convergence technologies with an emphasis on Security
•Systems engineering exposure, with in-depth knowledge of the following protocols :
oSIP, RTP, SNMP, H.323 and Security and encryption technologies like IPSEC, IKE and TLS.
•Must have solid Network troubleshooting experience with routers and switches - (VLANs, NAPT, TCP/IP, MPLS, VPN, IP Routing)
•Experience with VoIP Application Servers, Soft switches, Media Gateways, Transcoding platforms and VoIP test equipment would be a definite asset.
•Working knowledge of the Linux and Unix

Requirements

•Minimum 5-10 years experience in sales engineering, professional services or similar customer facing positions.
•Quick learner, with a willingness to learn new products and technologies to be successful on the job.

•Ability to work independently and to the highest ethical standards.
•Ability to travel 50%+
