New Business Sales Person for VoxId's international Client

PRIMARY OBJECTIVES
Operating at the highest level, this individual is responsible for identifying, targeting and closing new business in the enterprise, corporate and contact centre market places from a zero base.
They must therefore have the ability to:
•Meet demanding sales targets in the range of £1m p.a.
•Work by themselves to refine target clients and draw up a sales prospecting plan.
•Manage the sales funnel through from suspect to closed business.
•Work closely with marketing in order to determine key market segments to target.
•Provide feedback for ongoing product development and marketing approach.

Long Description :

This individual is therefore responsible for developing sales plans, developing sales leads, progressing sales leads and closing new business. The area of focus is in selling hosted and on-premise based contact centre and speech solutions from VoxId’s PRODUCT range of products. These products have been highly successful in the telco and ISP sector in the niche of directory assistance.
VoxId now wants to bring these product sets and its own SI skills to the broader contact centre and enterprise market where we believe there are considerable opportunities with the adoption of Software as a Service models, the need for more automated customer care solutions and the ongoing developments in merging of media.
Specifically the individual will be selling products from VoxId’s PRODUCT range which include IVR with speech recognition, contact centre ACD, call recording, desktop environments with CTI and SI and professional services. These solutions can be deployed either on-premise or hosted at one of VoxId’s hosting sites in Germany, UK or the US. In addition VoxId is adding a CRM capability to its portfolio which would also be a key responsibility for this individual to sell.

MAIN DUTIES
•Identify and close new business in the contact centre and enterprise market.
•Meet demanding sales targets in the range of £1m p.a.
•Develop and manage a sales plan with targets for identifying sales targets, prospects in order to produce a realistic rolling sales funnel for development.
•Work closely with marketing in order to determine new segments to target and product developments to schedule into the product development lifecycle.

Qualifications
•Likely to be a graduate.
•Likely to have professional sales training from a major corporate organisation.
•Driving license.

Skills & Experience
1.Proven track record in a new business sales role selling complex high value technically complex solutions of £500k plus.
2.Knowledge and experience of working in a sales organisation targeting at least one of the following:
•The contact centre market generally
•The voice & speech applications market
•CRM applications and implementations
•A specific market vertical with contact centre and/or voice applications, e.g. Finance, Retail etc.
3.Likely to have at least 5-10 years experience.
4.Proven ability to operate comfortably at all levels in an organisation up to and including board level.

Package to include:
•Base of £45,000 plus discretionary commission based on meeting performance targets. On target earnings of £95,000 (uncapped).
